Bettanin & Venturi’s shoes are handmade masterpieces. It’s an honour to work with a passionate maestro like Mr Bettanin, building their new corporate identity.
I learned quite a lot about this trade: a graphic designer must look for a story to tell and make it his way to explain what it means to own and wear shoes like these. They are not cheap and far from being easy to wear. One must learn to walk again, in the begining: we are too used to sneakers! Still, it is almost like driving a Ferrari, after 30 years of small cars. I re-created the trademark, the logotype, the whole communication world around the first collection in the new course of the company.
I can’t wait to proudly wear my first Bettanin pair of shoes, as soon as they will be ready, perfectly designed around my horrible feet. http://www.bv1856.com
