Parolazze al San Marco was born while working on Trieste’s Bloomsday 2018, a recurrence invented to celebrate James Joyce worldwide, on June 16th, I started drawing a series of graphics, meant to be postcards to be sold at the Ancient Caffé San Marco, in Trieste. Instead, the 16+1 logotypes-epiteths became an exhibition in the cafe, opened on June, 16th, 2018 and lasted until August, 30th, and the book was presented the following Bloomsday, in 2019. wrapped in a black tote bag with a huge MONA (twat) silkscreened on it.

Parolazze al San Marco è nato mentre lavoravo al Bloomsday 2018 di Trieste, una ricorrenza inventata per celebrare James Joyce in tutto il mondo, il 16 giugno: ho iniziato a disegnare una serie di grafiche, pensate per essere cartoline da vendere per l’occasione all’Antico Caffè San Marco, a Trieste. Invece, i 16 + 1 logotipi-epiteti sono diventati una mostra al Caffè, aperta il 16 giugno 2018 e durata fino al 30 agosto, mentre il libro è stato presentato al Bloomsday successivo, nel 2019, avvolto in una borsa nera con un enorme MONA serigrafato su di esso.
